Known by many nicknames and often regarded as the capital of the world, New York is one of the most popular private jet destinations for both business and leisure travellers.

Towering skyscrapers, artistic prowess, and a character that many of the globe’s capitals desire to compete with make New York worthy of a visit by everyone at least once in their lifetime.

Where to stay:

MANDARIN ORIENTAL NEW YORK:

Well-positioned to offer some of the most breathtaking views in all of New York, the Mandarin Oriental towers high above this iconic city’s streets and overlooks the Hudson River, Central Park, and downtown Manhattan. Only steps away from world-class dining and shopping as well as the famous Broadway Theatre District for first-class entertainment, the Mandarin Oriental well and truly has everything at its door and is ideally located for families, couples and business travellers alike.

Rooms vary in size and fittings, and a selection of suites and Signature Suites offer extra space for those seeking a little more comfort; however, all share the same first-class standard and quality of décor and furnishing for which this luxury hotel chain is known. Rooms are tastefully finished with contemporary décor, elegantly influenced by the brand’s Asian origins, and feature floor-to-ceiling windows to offer unrivalled sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline.

The Mandarin Oriental is also home to the MO Lounge, which many refer to as one of New York’s must-visit dining destinations thanks to its expansive views overlooking Central Park. Offering an all-day menu of contemporary American cuisine and well-crafted cocktails, MO Lounge is a great place to start your day or unwind after an afternoon of shopping in the nearby luxury retail stores.

THE DOMINICK SOHO:

Famed for being the only independent New York hotel with the exclusive AAA Five Diamond accolade, indicative of the highest levels of luxury, The Dominick offers guests luxurious amenities with unobtrusive service to match.

The hotel’s accommodations are spacious, and at only 12 rooms per floor, each offers more floor space than the average New York room size. Most of The Dominick’s 391 rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows, which provide magnificent river or cityscape views. The hotel’s top levels are home to various penthouses for the ultimate space for larger groups or extended stays.

The 7th floor of The Dominick is home to Terrace on 7, a seasonal, exclusive outdoor oasis and a place to relax and soak up summer sunshine whilst admiring panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline. Indoors, the BABOR Signature Spa offers a Moroccan Hammam, as well as a variety of massage, facial and body treatments.

THE CHATWAL:

Conveniently located on 44th Street in the heart of Manhattan, The Chatwal is in a prime location for avid theatregoers and is only steps away from the city’s infamous Times Square.

Initially built in 1905 by Stanford White, The Chatwal is something of a local landmark and was restored and renewed in 2010 by master architect Thierry Despont.

The hotel’s 76 luxurious residences include 29 suites and 14 themed suites, each with spacious private terraces. Inside, décor draws inspiration from early 20th-century travel and the days of glamourous transatlantic voyages. The hotel’s rooms and suites are each fitted with built-in cabinets, ultra-suede and custom furniture exquisitely designed by Despont.

The Chatwal also provides a 3,500 square-foot spa with an infinity saltwater lap pool, plunge jacuzzi and 24-hour access fitness room. Complimented by a full butler service, 24-hour in-room dining, and Apple laptops available for complimentary use during your stay, The Chatwal has everything you need for the perfect stay for both business and leisure.
